In the interim between the ‘real week’ (Monday through Wednesday) and the weekend (Friday through Sunday), there’s agonizing Thursday. It’s not quite time to celebrate, but the pile of work on your desk has dwindled down to a slow trickle of largely pointless memos and notifications – hardly worth getting worked up about.
